Here are a few shots from my whale watching trip on Sunday. We didn't see much more of the whales than the fluke (this tail section). One gets a sense of how big these marvelous creatures are when you hear that their tongues, alone, weigh two tons. You can always spot a surfacing whale because of the mist they eject from their blow-holes when they first come up.
