A local tour takes visitors on a canoe trip near the front of the glacier. I wonder if the tourist consider that a glacier can unpredicatively calve (ice falling off the front) at any moment and tip the canoe under a large wave. The amazing thing to me is that they pay money to sweat, grunt, and row while on vacation. In any case, it made for a nice photo opportunity.
