  Alaska

A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

One fun thing about living in Alaska is that, due to the high latitude, your shadow can get pretty long. I was on the up-side of a hill when I took this shot and it made my shadow about 100 feet (33 meters) long. Of course, half the reason I like this photo is because it was actually sunny this day. There has been so much rain lately that my car was beginning to grow mold (yuck!). I had to take it in and wash it on a rainy and windy day.
