I was very proud of my co-worker for swinging two really great guest speakers to come talk with our kids at camp. This lady is from the local Raptor Center and she brought this hawk with her. The Raptor Center takes birds of all kinds and rehabilitates them if they are injured. The photos below are of the Juneau Search and Rescue dog team. They brought Keeper with them and demonstrated how she could find someone lost in the woods or in an avalanche. The students enjoyed learning about these special guests.
