A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

Speaking of food, one of the most popular activities at camp is the day we cook lunch on Hobo stoves. The stoves are made from tuna cans, coffee cans, cardboard, and wax. We show the students how to use the stoves safely and then let them cook their own hamburgers. I think the parent volunteers at camp enjoy this activity as much as the students. By the way.... this is a photo of my co-third-grade-teacher, Ellen, cooking her lunch during the only full hour of sunshine we got on Thursday.

P.S. On another note.... Happy Mother's Day!!
