The day I arrived in Unalaska, my friends took me on a drive through the island. It was sunny that day and they feared that it might be the last sun I would see. On that drive we saw the wild/feral horses that roam the island with freedom. The Aleutians also have the highest variety of migratory birds in the United States and we saw many of those.
