My first view of the Aleutian Islands and Unalaska was from my plane ride in. It was a small plane (with only 4 passengers on it this day) but it still seemed to scrape the mountains as it flew by. As you look out the window approaching the runway, you think you are going to either hit a mountain or land in the water. At the last second, runway appears.
