As mentioned on February 18, we had a dance at my school last night. The students have prepared for 10 weeks by learning the Tango, Fox Trot, Swing, and other ballroom dances. The event began with the students show-casing their skills for a standing-room-only audience of parents, teachers, and community members. After that, there was over an hour of open-floor/live band dancing where students could invite parents or others to dance with them. The evening was a huge success. One of the neatest things was seeing all the students dressed up in suits and ties or dresses. I will try to get some parent permissions to post of few of those photos.
