Sunday afternoon, I drove with a friend down to Girdwood for some lunch. Girdwood is about 1 hour south of Anchorage and has Alaska's most famous ski area, Alyeska. The drive down was beautiful with majestic mountains and large ice flows. Be sure to take this drive if you get a chance some day.
