It was a bit of a surprise to be driving toward downtown yesterday and see a fishing-boat grounded in the middle of the channel (5 miles from the nearest dock). It likely broke free during a recent storm and was pushed north by the tide. I feel sorry for the owners  as they work to salvage it.
