This year I took on a student teacher.... actually she is a MAT student (Masters of Arts in Teaching). Here is a bio she wrote for our newsletter.

Hello! My name is Manuela Zeitlhofer. I will be in Mr. Wyatt's third grade classroom most of the 2006/2007 school year as a student teacher (I am in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at the University of Alaska Southeast). I was born in Austria, Europe. Four years ago I immigrated to Canada. I moved to Juneau from Dawson City, Yukon, this summer. The reason I chose to study in Juneau is because I love the North and the wilderness. – Ms. Zeitlhofer (alias Ms. "Z").
