A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

On Friday I got an email from a friend in Venezuela saying that they were going to the beach this weekend. By chance, I took my class to the beach on Friday too. The difference is that Alaskan beaches are generally much rockier and colder. In fact, snow had been predicted for Friday but we ended up with sunshine and temperatures around 55 degrees. We spent the morning looking in tide-pools at creatures and enjoying a little freedom from the classroom.
