On Wednesday my co-worker Ellen and I took our students to the ice-skating rink near downtown Douglas. It was my first time in the rink. Many of the students had been there many times but even the ones who had never skated before had an incredible time. It was my first time on skates in a long time but I picked it up pretty quick. Of course, one of my students had to spend some time teaching me how to stop. Lots of kids spent lots of time falling down but nobody got hurt and we all had fun.
