On my quest for the famous Juneau rockslide, I came across something that I've never seen before. A mamma and two bear-cubs were zonked out just off the trail near a salmon stream. It was an amazing wonder of Alaska. My friend's and I were within 20 yards of these predators. The most unfortunate thing was that the sun was right behind them so it was difficult to get a photo that expresses the moment. Here are the best of the lot.
