You can see through these trees the Juneau/Douglas bridge which is the only roadway between downtown Juneau and the island of Douglas. Douglas has a small town on it and also the Juneau ski area. It is a 15 minute drive from my house to the bridge and then another 15+ minutes up to the slopes. People who live on Douglas are very proud of their heritage and will often correct someone who indicates that the Douglasian is a Juneauite. Local politics at its best.
