Darkness sets in quickly this time of year. Immediately after work, I picked a friend up to help me explore an old trail in the Lemon Creek Valley. We got to the trailhead at 3:30 as light began to dim. By 4:30 we were back at the car in the dark. I was only able to get this one photo before it was too dark in the woods for any photography. Winter officially starts in just over five weeks. Until then, it will continue to get dark earlier and earlier.
