Los Roques wins for having the most unusual airport that I have ever visited. For starters, I've never seen a control tower that can be driven home at night. Also, the airport terminal is just a "waitting room" (sic).  Two steps out of the waiting room is a great view of the approaching planes. It was a good end to an excellent day on the islands.
