Yesterday was a perfect birthday for me. I went on a walk, went to church, and had lunch with some friends.  In the evening I had 14 of my closest Caracas friends to my house for cake and cookies. It was nice to sit around and talk and share time with these special friends. I got several nice gifts. My parents "got me good" by returning my orange hat that has been so funny and embarrassing over the years. I will have to devote a day to the story of the hat sometime in the future.
