  Venezuela

Wyatt in Valencia
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

Yesterday was a long but interesting day. I woke at 5:30 to catch a bus to the Colegio Internacional de Carabobo (CIC) in Valencia 2.5 hours drive to the west. All the international schools in Venezuela gathered for a full day conference. Two things surprised me during the day. First, I was amazed at how many international educators there are in Venezuela. It made me realize how many overseas educational opportunities there probably are out there. Second, I found the CIC campus to be stunningly beautiful. It is a K-12 school but it looked like a college campus. It was green, well manicured, and had lots of large open spaces. The day ended at 9 back in Caracas where I found the lock on my front door jammed again (this was the 5th time). Fortunately the master key was on campus and got me in.
