Unbelievably there has been a nice tourist market near my apartment since I moved here and I didn't know about it until last week. It is so nicely hidden that I've walked right by it a 100 or more times and didn't even know it was there. Some friends had to walk me right down into it. The market holds 20 or more shops with all sorts of arts and crafts from throughout South America. A lot of it is the typical merchandise but some of it is nice. It is a fun place to explore on a lazy afternoon.
