Wyatt in Colonial Tovar
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

Saturday morning we drove from Maracay (near the beach) to the mountainous village of Colonial Tovar. We found the road to be beautiful and steep as it wound upward to around 6000 feet. I had not been on this route and was awed by the landscape. It honestly reminded me of the mountains in Peru. In Colonial Tovar, we spent most of the afternoon looking in shops and enjoying the view. My big purchase was a flat of fresh strawberries. After lunch and a few last minute purchases, we returned to Caracas.
