We like to joke that people originally come on Monday nights for the Bible study but come back for the popcorn. I've gotten pretty good at cooking popcorn on the stove since moving down here. Our small group usually goes through two big bowls of it each week in addition to cookies or cake or some other snack. One joke associated with the popcorn is to tease the person who drops the most on the floor. Admittedly, I am that person sometimes. But as good as the popcorn is, the conversations we share over the snack are even better.
