A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

I have been very impressed with the giving nature of the students at ECA. Since the tragic tsunami that took the lives of so many in late December, students have been working at all grade levels to raise money to aid the relief.  The first grade had a popcorn sale and the second grade had a bake-sale. Third grade had a raffle, fourth grade is having a trinket sale, and fifth grade has had a used-book sale. All of these efforts have been very successful because of the enthusiasm of these students. I am very proud that ECA encourages the ethic of giving.

* I was a lucky winner in the raffle. I won a very nice hand-made scarf but exchanged it with a co-worker who really wanted my prize for some chocolate.  I donated the chocolate to the principal's chocolate bucket in the office.

** I chuckle every time I pass by the book sale because on the wall opposite a sign that says, "Children Books ~2000Bs" is a sign that says, "Adult Books ~ You set the Price." Don't worry. They are not THAT kind of adult book.
