A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

As mentioned a few days ago, the country has been in a state of panic because of the heavy rains which started a week ago. The ones most worried are those living in the make-shift homes that cling to the sides of the mountains in the poorer parts of town. Large portions of the barrios (lit. neighborhoods) have been known to slide away in heavy rains that can spark mud-slides. Someone told me recently of a friend who went home late at night to find his house gone. We all hope the rains begin to slow soon.
