Wow! What a weekend!! At this time of year, Latin Americans take off two days for Carnival. Being a four day weekend, I had the honor of joining 250 Venezuelan young people and workers at a Church of Christ (Iglesia de Cristo) Bible Youth Retreat in the mountains near Barquisimeto. The energy and friendliness of everyone really uplifted me. My title for the weekend was Asistente Técnico. I was in charge of keeping the video projector running for the speakers and song leaders. I was also in charge of putting together a slideshow for the last night. I took over 1000 photos. The final show had 280 photos. The photos today and for the next few days will be a small representation from that show.
