We had half a foot of snow fall yesterday but on Friday I captured the accumulation of ice crystals on trees near my home. I wish these photos could capture the absolute beauty of these large crystals. On the end of each branch was a cluster of crystals that looked like a little bud starting to grow. The air was crisp and cold when I took these photos and after about twenty minutes my camera started to tell me that it wanted to go inside. Otherwise, I could have stayed out and taken a 100 photos.
