  The Yukon

Wyatt in Whitehorse
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

On our journey back to Alaska, my dad and I spent a night in Whitehorse, the capital city of The Yukon. It sits on the shores of one of the longest rivers in the world... the Yukon river. These photos are of a restored paddlewheel boat that sits on the river's bank. These mighty machines used to be common in these parts during the gold rush days. This lone survivor sits as a memorial to those times past and functions as a museum.
