In the northern part of
British Columbia is the wonderful Liard hot-spring.
Rustically developed, there are underwater benches, a
changing room, and a small stream that flows from the ground
at around 140 degrees then cools as it slowly moves down a
50 yard section. It was incredibly relaxing to sit and let
the minerals seep into your body. One challenge is to walk
slowly to the where the water bubbles out of the ground and
place a rock at the source. Once was enough for me. |
