There was a beautiful little river flowing through Mama Rosa's land this past weekend near Cumana. Since it was a hot day, the river was cool, and I was already wet, I decided to go for a swim. Gabriel and his cousin Luis joined me. It wasn't very deep. It was perhaps 5 feet in the deepest part but we still had fun jumping off the rocks into the pools. Since we were up in the mountains, the water was pretty safe but I still tried not to drink any. You never know what animals are cooling down upstream.
