Wyatt in Rio de Janeiro
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

As you can see, I had a very good time in Rio and took entirely too many photos. Here are a few remaining photos from the journey taken during an adventurous day trip into the historic downtown area. The most amazing part was touring the Municipal Theater which is a scaled down version of the Paris Opera House.  The one in Rio holds 2,347 people. The fellow above was the first conductor to work in the theater when it opened in 1909. Rio was a beautiful city, even in the heart of downtown. I had a good and restful trip.

*It has been a long time since I've had a hidden photo but there is one in the main photo today.  It is of a restaurant I saw in Rio that didn't have salmon, berries, halibut or anything regionally familiar on the menu.
