Perhaps my favorite place
in Rio was the botanical garden. The garden was well
maintained and very large (probably 100 acres or so) and was
the perfect place to do some walking around, reading, and
writing. There was a great deal of variety in the structure
of the garden and there were many interesting fountains and
waterways to explore. I am sure I did not see all of it in
my time there. I found the garden to be quite photogenic so
it has been with much difficulty that the pictures have been
whittled down to the top 22*. |
