A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

Two Sundays ago in Rio I looked up an Igreja De Cristo (church of Christ) and took a taxi to their service. Not only did I find a vibrant and growing church, I found a great mission team that is devoted to seeing people's love for God grow. It was very inspiring. The mission team came two years ago from the United States and have set some pretty high goals for church growth. From what I saw, I am certain they will meet those goals. Right now they are constructing a building and have about 100 members. As an added bonus Daniel and Kirsty, one of the missionary couples, met me for lunch during the week. We spent a good 4 hours talking and enjoying each other's company. That is the cool thing about being in a church. No matter where you go, you always find "family."

On a side note, we had milkshakes at Bob's Burgers. Bob's is a fast-food restaurant chain in Rio. Their burgers are nothing special but their chocolate shakes are addictive.
