Monday morning Mike and I caught a ride on the Mérida Teleférico.  This tram is not only the highest in the world (reaching to 15,600 feet) but also the longest (7.7 miles). There are four legs on the journey.  Currently the final leg is not working so the highest we got was 13, 272 feet.  The ride is swift and impressive. Sometimes we were well over 1500 feet in the air. The amazing views kept us glued to the windows. Overall, this experience topped our fondest expectations.
