Smack-dab in the middle of Caracas sit two beautiful golf courses. Yesterday after work I was invited to join my friends James and Heidi on the course closest to the school. I have often walked near this course but had no idea how amazing it was. It is like a grassy oasis in the city. I am used to playing smaller courses several steps down from this one. I guess that is why I got par on this par 3 hole and didn't come close on any other. A first was having a personal caddie. He was helpful in giving advice and selecting clubs. We played until dark. I hope to have another opportunity to play in the near future.
