Last Saturday night I was invited to attend a gathering of the Indian community of Caracas (those who are from India). It was a wonderful night as I learned more about their fascinating culture. The food was amazing and I had some interesting conversations. My favorite part was seeing the beautiful women in their striking saris. It was explained to me that each sari is designed to represent the part of India it came from. Currently I have plans to travel through India next summer.
