Sunday morning I went to a retreat center called Pozo de Rosas (Well of Roses). The women from my Spanish speaking church were finishing up a three-day retreat and had invited a few men to worship with them. I was very impressed with the facilities which are nestled in a beautiful green valley. The grounds keepers obviously spend a lot of time on maintenance and up-keep. The flowers were amazing. The contrast of the quiet to the noise of Caracas gave me a lot of peace and made it difficult to leave even after a few hours.
