A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

My least favorite part about walking north of school is having to cross over the smelly and trash-laden Rio Guoire. This river centrally runs the length of the city from west to east. They tell me it is not on the top 10 most polluted rivers list. This both surprises and saddens me. I usually avert my eyes (and nose) as I walk over it to keep an appetite. The only way I could get this photo was because a heavy rain had swollen the river and diminished the pollutants. You can still see trash riding down the center. It is hard to believe people could treat a river so poorly.
