A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

On Saturday I was invited to a special presentation at Expanzoo.  Cindy, our science teacher, puts together family-science programs to give students more hands-on learning in science.  On this day we were looking at mammals, birds, and reptiles.  We spent the first hour talking about the differences between animals and then the next 3 hours touring this special zoo (more on that tomorrow).  The highlight of the day was getting to see and pet a young puma.  With all the people around, the puma was pretty excitable and at one point jumped on me as I tried to photograph him.  No harm done.
