This past weekend I traveled with my co-worker Gerry to the Island of Margarita off the Venezuelan coast.  This could be considered our farewell celebration as Gerry prepares to leave Venezuela and return to his wife and home in India next month.  We stayed at the wonderful little Costa Linda Hotel on the north shore of the island.  The staff was friendly and the tropical ambiance was relaxing.  It was nothing like Caracas. It was everything like heaven.
