Wyatt in Quibor
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

It started getting hot mid-morning in Quibor on Saturday.  We soon found this man making snow-cones.  I got a strawberry flavored cone.  Something new for me was the added squirt of condensed milk on the top.  The flavor was indescribably sweet but it cooled me down. I even got an ice-headache (another first in Venezuela).  Most interesting was the antique contraption the man used to shred the ice.  Taking a block of ice from his cooler, he placed it on a rotating plate, and as he turned the crank the ice was shaved by a sharp blade.  The man then scooped up the ice and added flavoring.

*Okay... here's an easy one.  Find the hidden picture that shows my snow-cone.
