This evening I went for a walk and looked up to the mountains that overlook Caracas and thought they looked especially beautiful.  These mountains have helped keep me from being too home-sick because they overlook the Caracas valley in the same way Thunder Mountain overlooks the Mendenhall valley in Juneau.
