A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

One of the most unique experiences at Parque Zoologico Caricuao were the monkeys. They don't live in cages in the zoo. They live in the trees and seem to have a grape addiction. They would come out and take food right out of our hands. In fact, some were well practiced at holding a grape or peanut in each hand and one in their mouth. They were fascinating to watch. One of the monkeys carried a baby around on her back and several hung upside-down by their tails to grab for food. I felt a little conspicuous carrying around the bag of grapes. It felt like a million eyes were on me, waiting to pounce.
