Saturday morning I went with friends out to the western edge of Caracas to a place known as the "Zoo". It is a zoo of sorts but it is more like a park with lots of animals. We spent several hours strolling and interacting with flamingoes, monkeys, parrots, turtles, elephants, and many other creatures.
