Sometimes odd things happen in my classroom. On Thursday and then again on Friday I had a giant moth come in the lab and flutter around. This photo may not give a perspective of size but I would estimate its wingspan at around 7 inches. Thursday's moth caused such a disruption that I threw this box over it until it calmed down and then released into a flowerbed. Talk about having a bug in the system!
