This sunny day photo of a near-by Catholic church was taken two weeks ago for a future posting. The smoky day photo was taken Monday when things where starting to get crazy near our neighborhood. The smoke was caused by people burning trash while blocking the intersection. Fortunately the wind blew most of the smoke away from my apartment. The church sits back 100 feet from where the fire was and was never harmed. We've had abbreviated school days yesterday and today because of political uncertainty within the country.
