Wyatt in Caracas
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

It has been an interesting few days in Caracas. On Friday after school I walked down to the Avenue Principal near my house and watched a calm demonstration. People were sitting around talking or waving flags. There were a lot of streets blocked and the traffic was pretty bad. At one point, there was spontaneous singing of the Venezuelan national anthem. Sunday I was able to walk to church and get back without incident though there were violent demonstrations in parts of Caracas. School was canceled yesterday and then again today as a precaution because of the uncertainty of the political situation.
