The Raptor Center in Juneau is a wonderful organization that attempts to rescue and resuscitate injured birds. This eagle lost one eye in a tangle with another. She will never be released into the wild because of the low survival probability. It is always good to watch the center release eagles after they are well. They are truly a majestic animal.
