Saturday's field trip took me to a Caracas city park. Parque del Este is located about 2 miles from the school and is right off the Metro line. The entrance fee is 12.5 cents for an adult. The park is large and beautiful and I am surprised at how well kept it is. There is hardly any liter despite the number of people. The park is used to play games, practice martial arts, boat, watch wild-life, use the nice walking paths, or just relax. It was a pleasant experience.
