Wyatt in La Faro Beach
A Daily Photo Essay of My Journey

On our second full day in Puerto La Cruz we hopped a boat to an island for a quiet day of beach sitting. Little did we know that the entire Carnival tourist community had the same idea. As we rounded the corner leading into La Faro bay, what could I do but laugh at the shear ridiculousness found in the number of people on the beach. Gerry and I found a small patch of sand near some drunk people and I enjoyed reading while Gerry went for a dip. Apparently this island is famous for its lizards and Iguanas. I saw several but will spare you the photos since I've already posted those reptiles twice. Amazingly, I ran into two of my students on this beach.
