While on the Ávila Saturday, we went for a walk down a muddy access road. To the north we could see the Atlantic Ocean in the distance as pictured above. To the south we could see the vast city of Caracas. Everywhere we looked there was beauty. Occasionally we had to step to the side of the road as a tour group drove by. Mid-day we stopped at a shack and had lamb-sandwiches.
